2009 Napa Valley AIDS WALK REGISTRATION
Join us now to begin your team plan for the first ever 2009 "Halloween" Napa Valley AIDS Walk.

For 2009 we are hosting a very special Napa Valley AIDS Walk Halloween Day. We will be a Napa Valley AIDS Walk in Costume Saturday October 31st, 2009 at 10 am at the Lincoln Theater at the Veterans Home in Yountville.

This year will be a "Spooktacular" AIDS WALK 2009 as Napa's Diverse Walks of Life, Partner for a Cure in Costume¨

The location for the 2009 "Spooktacular" Napa Valley AIDS WALK is in the Heart of the Napa Valley - the Lincoln Theater Courtyard, at The Veteran's Home of Napa Valley, 100 California Drive, Yountville, CA 94599, Saturday October 31st, 2009 at 10 a.m.

THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT CONTRIBUTED AND WALKED in 2008 and
let's make 2009 the biggest year ever!

Our Goal was to raise at least $20,000.00 dollars. We succeeded in beating last years goal
thanks to the leadership of our two hosts, the
Napa Valley Unity League and the Lincoln Theater  and lead sponsors WTN Services and 1440 KVON and 93.3 THE VINE in challenging teams from the business, school and faith community, as well as encouraging individuals to walk for awareness.

At Queen of the Valley Medical Center's CARE Network, the recently announced State budget cuts will have a significant impact on a number of important community health programs including HIV services and others. The revised budget ends all funding for one of three  HIV case management programs, which had been allocated approximately $90,000 in the budget originally approved by the California legislature. The Queen is committed to continuing the program, at least through fiscal year 2010, by allocating a significant portion of the community health “reserves.” However, not know the long-term impact of these budget actions if State funding is not restored resources are at risk so this 2009 AIDS Walk is even more important to the services that the CARE Network provides then ever before.
